Sad Song

Break me down, break me down
Break in pieces my beautiful song
Hell's gates and the star tremors
Recite these lines of tearing up inside
To all my unsung dreams
And I just await the rythme

The Ocean stands in sifting sand
The moon calls him back again
To the skies edge every night
When the clouds hold their breath
Gulls cry of tears so softly
Rain shakes its head to love altogether

Morning is like a prayer ascending
A step of faith toward something new
The dawn clasps her hands, hopeful
And the Sun charges the night heavily
Leveled lance of breathing hearts
Drowning out the ticking clocks

I am the dreamer, I am the dream
I am the ocean, and the moons scream
Rain comes down in the gull's cry
And in that too, alone stand I
In the clash of war, at the break of day
The sky is mine, but its all clay

I have to say it's an original poem. :-) I like it.

He keeps me singing as I go...

Every time I read your poetry, I'm inspired to write again. It's that good.
