Life just goes on
And craziness and chaos never cease to escalate. We keep thinking we're gonna really move, but then we end up not, and we might move this weekend but probably not, so yeah. School has stabalized to a certain extent but two weeks of work that must be done someday has been tucked away in the restless bowels of things that cannot be done at this time and yet must be done someday. So thats disturbing and annoying to think about. But otherwise life has fallen into a narrow rut of cramped quarters, working, insufficient time for schoolwork, and precious little access to de internet. I keep wanting to change my template and words at the top and the names on the side, and just overall make my site fresh and special, but I just don't have time. I did however get a little site meter thing which happily assures me that no one has ever visited this blog in the history of the earth and that is of immense usefullness to me. . . . somehow. In other news, yesterday was Owen's 6th birthday, and that was happy. He blew out his candles in five mighty bursts of saliva, and that wasn't quite so happy. Jordan played in a concert last night. I love to go to those things, mainly in order to watch the bored college students forced to be there because of music appreciation class, and sometimes the added treat of watching Dr. Pitts perform. This is a truly fascinating thing because as soon as he sits down on the bench he begins to have intense inner struggles and looks around himself with a facial expression of astounding putrification. The girl sitting next me wrote an extremely long paper during the course of the class, and a guy not to far down the line watched the whole thing with a look of mild horror, most everyone else was almost asleep. Everyone that is, except for Victor, he watched the entire concert with rapt attention and apparent great enjoyment, and when Karen and Jordan completed their peice (Karen on the viola and Jordan accompanying on the piano) he leaped to his feat with loud shouts of joy and began frenzied clapping, the rest of the audience stared in stoney silence. Except for Mom and I who burst into gleeful laughter but remained firmly in our seats. I love student recitals, they are indeed glorious spectacles. Anyhow, I suppose that is all that needs to be said and so,

Oh my GOSH you posts are so funny! The vision of Owen and his birthday candles held Ben and I in foolish glee. I distain a site meter for my site, especially knowing that random template changes makes it a bit harders to re-set-up one's whole blogger lifestyle.
Your account of student recitals was highly ammusing as well since I have seen one many a time in the hall where you guys probably were. ::sniff:: I'm gonna have to have a tour of the ol' SFA campus this time down in Texas. Who know's when I'll see it again...
