"Oh, he's fine"
Hello friends, today was a good day, or at least some of it was. That some of it did not include the part of it which I spent writhing on the ground in terrible agony looking at my broken wrist in horror and disbeleif, " Oh, he's fine", "No, I'm not fine, I just broke my arm", ok, so it wasn't really my "arm" just the wrist, but close enough, I've never broken any bones before at all. So yeah, I still like football, but not as much as I did yesterday. My friends were all very supportive, they huddled around me talking about violent computer games while I moaned in quiet agony, it was all very touching. Anyhow, after a peacefull rest on the football field I went to Doctor Fearing who sent me to get an X ray on my wrist breaking my 10 year stent of not going into hospitals as a patient. Then after going back and having a happy little chat with the Doc we went to Walgreens and got a nice little splint type thingy bob, put my arm in it, I chewed up a few Ibuprofen and I was jolly and chipper again. So feeling happy once again, I went to a happy little homeschool hay ride get together with Bethany. The fellow who smashed me (he will remain anonymous) was deeply chagrined to see me in a cast and was full of most profuse apologies, I assured him that it was quite alright and had I been in his situation I would have done the same thing, so all in all it was a good and happy day. Oh by the way, typing in a sling isn't nearly as hard as you might think,
