I have a blog? Since when?

Oh hi, I'm vocal again. Yeah I was grounded (stupid teenage rebellion, pray for me on that one). In the last month or so huge things have happened. I've started school in earnest: Physics, Western Civ, Shakespeare, Speech/Debate and still Algebra2, doing all but algebra in co-op with other homeschoolers which is cool since I'm a very social person. I'm also the editorial writer for the Yearbook Committee which basicly means that I write articles concerning yearbook stuff for the NAHSA newsletter as well as the Daily Sentinal if need be, although I suspect that the latter will be in limited demand. Jordan left, deep sadness and grief, here is a quote from him on that last day "So finally I turned off your alarm, and I contemplated kicking you" yeah Jordan, I love you too ;). Also a brief moment of seceret pleasure and cruel delight for Caleb and I, 5 minutes before physics class with these desperate words from Andrew,"15 and 16? 15 and 16? I only saw 12 problems" Unbelievably he did the four he'd missed before class, that made me bitter indeed (It took me half an hour to do those problems). Later I harvested this truly classic quote from Owen "I'll bite your leg if you don't come out!" And then I zipped off to Mexico. Caleb organized this totally massive Eagle Service Project in which 15 people plus himself drove up to an orphanage in Mexico near the border and we built and fixed fences, put up gates and installed a cool and dangerous addition to their playground. During all this we forged unbreakable freindships, told stupid jokes, laughed uproariously ( those last two were mostly just me), sang songs, drove through flooding streets, sniffed the tastey smell of open sewage, fellowshipped with Mexican believers, screamed, yelled, cried and spilled imeasurable buckets of sweat and little bit of blood on the Mexican sand. We also had deep philosophical discussions:

Craig: I follow Bashido, the way of the warrior!
Me: That's just stupid (No really, just not that day.)

Other words collected on the trip (word collecting is my new hobby now by the way)

"His legs aren't white, their beige" ~ Caleb (No I am not at liberty to reveal who he was talking about)

"Stop grinning Evan, your ruining the effect!" ~ Craig

"Mr. Gillcoat, if your tired I'll come sit in your lap and drive for you, so you can rest" ~Kevin (your so thoughtfull Kevin, maybe next time)

"There's to many bulls in this pasture, ol Grandpa hasta keep em seperate" ~ Ron Jones (the old grandpa)

"The flies are so friendly here!" ~Luke

"There's only two things you can do when you meet Evan, die laughing or run for your life" ~Josh (See, the media is fair and balanced)

"Es loco en el cabesa" ~ Mexican boy after watching me consume a watermelon

"Organic rootbeer?! I draw the line at organic rootbeer!" ~Me

I got back late Thursday night and after a few breif words I crashed, thinking that there would be peace after all for weary travelers. Little did I know the fun had only just begun, to be continued,

It's good to have you back, Evan! You're not a disgrace to the British navy, I can tell you that much.

Whoa, I want to go to Mexico, baby.

Oops, I mean: I want to go to Mexico!

I can't really see how my blogs are any specialer then yours, but you've done like 30 more posts than me this month so I had a little more fodder to put into it. I'm glad to see you trying to curb your excess verbage, makes me proud ;)
