Pessimistic Optimist

That's what I am. I see every shadow in the coming tunnel, but I also see the glimmer of light at the end before I have even gone in. "Watchman, what of the night?" The watchman said, "The morning comes." Isa. 21:11-12 Having something and not being sure of it is far better then not having it at all, but far more stressful. Well, thats it for now

I know where you're coming from. To acknowledge the darkness is being honest, but to hope in the light is a gift. "O Lord, I remember Thy name in the night" Ps.119:55

I'm glad you understand, it was kind of stream of consciousness.

Wow, a gift and a bane, right? But someone has said that it takes a light to notice the dark at all. Maybe some days it's just the focus, I know that if I were in a dark room and someone lit a match, all I'd note is how I couldn't see my feet. Maybe a voice is whispering "True it's small, but it's clear and flaming and real - look at it" and I'm too complainy to listen. Maybe we could all just stop and appriciate the matches.

Great wisdom, we don't need to see our feet any way right? We know where they are.
